The data analytics curriculum is broken down into four main areas:

• Excel

• Presentations

• SQL

• Python

From there, students work on learning the skills they need to pass two industry certifications (Tableau Desktop Specialist and AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty) and finish the program with a culminating project. Grads of the Utah State University Data Analytics Bootcamp learn the skills they need to be qualified for entry-level roles like Data Analyst and Insights Analyst.

Yes, the Utah State University Data Analytics Bootcamp is beginner-friendly. It’s specifically designed for professionals without previous experience in data analytics. While some background knowledge is helpful, the only expectation is that students have general computer literacy skills in basics like efficiently using the Internet/cloud and Windows.

Your time with our career success team will include everything from workshops to one-on-one office hours to phone chats before big interviews. Alumni will also have access to a job board and have the opportunity to be connected with companies and organizations in our Employer Partner Network that are actively seeking qualified candidates.

To be eligible for the program, you must be at least 18 years old and a high school grad/GED holder by the start date of your intended cohort.

No, Utah State University Tech Bootcamps are not for credit and cannot be applied toward a degree or certificate program. Rather, they’re offered through the {university-dept-name} and facilitated by Fullstack Academy instructors and staff to provide in-demand tech skills training for current or prospective tech professionals.

Part-time students often continue working full-time while completing the bootcamp. Each week, students can expect to spend 9 hours in class and another 6-8 hours studying and completing assignments outside of class.

Full-time students do not continue working due to the immersive nature of the Utah State University Data Analytics. By focusing solely on their training, they’re set up to thrive in the accelerated 10-week program.
